No manufacturer employs a customs specialist on its own payroll: it retains an external firm, year after year. The same principle applies to a foreign market.
OltrExport operates as an external trade office rather than as a department your company would be required to establish. In the same manner in which an Italian business retains an external accountant instead of employing one, a foreign manufacturer may retain our firm for the Italian market: without employment contracts, without a subsidiary, on a continuing basis. The firm operates from two offices, in Lecce and in Bologna, and therefore covers both the South and the North of Italy.
Our experience is operational. We acquired it as export managers in marine HVAC, architectural glazing, footwear and the food and wine industry. We have managed international tenders in Egypt, India and Bangladesh, developed markets in Western and Eastern Europe, the United States and Australia, and operated on the ground in the Russian Federation.
We know where an order is in fact delayed: rarely in the negotiation, almost invariably in an imprecise customs classification, an unverified product requirement in the country of destination, or a poorly drafted distribution agreement.
