Four forms of collaboration.

Each structure allocates risk, margin and commercial control differently. The following section sets out what each entails in practice.

01

Commercial agency

We sell throughout Italy in your name, on a commission basis. No employment contract, no local entity, no fixed costs.

When it fitsYou intend to test the market without committing capital, while retaining direct control over pricing and customer relationships.
02

Representation

We act as your office in Italy: market intelligence, customer care, trade fairs and periodic reporting.

When it fitsYou already sell in Italy and require a permanent local presence to maintain the relationships already established.
03

Distribution

Where volumes justify it, we purchase the goods and serve the Italian market on our own account.

When it fitsVolumes are stable and you would rather issue a single invoice than administer twenty separate accounts.
04

Direct import

We purchase and import your products, assuming responsibility for customs clearance, conformity and placing on the market.

When it fitsYou intend to delegate the Italian market in full and to sell ex works.
— Selecting the structure

The arrangement is open to negotiation.

Most manufacturers begin with a commercial agency and move to distribution once volumes justify the transition. The two structures may also be combined by region or by product line. Terms are defined jointly at the outset, and an initial meeting entails neither cost nor obligation.
